Voicemail
The Voicemail page lists the messages left on your extension; the customer admin sees all the mailboxes of the phone system.
For each message: the date, the caller, the duration, and its written transcription if it is turned on. Listen plays it in the browser. You can mark it as heard or as new, or delete it.
Mailbox settings
- Callers can leave a message: unchecked, the mailbox no longer accepts messages.
- Send each message to: up to 5 email addresses, separated by commas.
- Attach the message to the e-mail: the audio file is sent with the email.
- Keep the message in the box after the e-mail: otherwise, it is removed once sent.
- Transcribe messages to text: the message’s text arrives in the email and in the portal (if your operator offers transcription).
Voicemail greeting
Without a greeting of your own, the default greeting is played. You can upload an audio file, or type the text, hear it read by the synthetic voice, then Use this message: the greeting is in place right away. The text stays displayed; edit it and start again to change the greeting.
From the phone
Dial your extension’s voicemail number (usually *97) to listen to your messages. A light on
compatible phones signals new messages.
